The Augustus Society is a charitable organization in Clark County, Nevada with a mission to preserve and promote a positive image of Italian-American’s in Clark County through charitable activities including, providing scholarships to Italian-American students with ability and financial need, assisting Italian-American families with personal hardships, and contributing to other charitable activities in Clark County.

Since 1983, the Augustus Society has given out over $750,000 in scholarships to Italian-American students with proven ability and financial need. Today our scholarship recipients include doctors, lawyers, teachers, nurses and other professionals that make daily contributions to our quality of life in Southern Nevada and continue to enhance the image of Italian-Americans in our community.

Since 1983, the Augustus Society has also given hundreds of thousands of dollars to help Italian-Americans in need in Clark County. We have helped battered single mothers with paying utility bills, families with sick children with paying medical bills, elderly people with transportation and groceries, and much more.

The Augustus Society is primarily funded through the dues of its members and donations from those in our community. The board, officers and committee people of the Augustus Society all serve on a volunteer basis. By being an all volunteer organization, we are able to maximize all dues and donations to meet out mission.
