For those who do not know, the Columbus Day Dinner is our premier event to honor our Italian- American heritage and to honor a member of our Nevada Italian-American community for his or her achievements. Past award winners include Vince Ciminise, Tony Sacca, Nick Montana, Michael G. Fauci, Charles Cocuzza,Andrea Lanfranco Boggs The Scintas (family), Assemblyman Joseph Dini, Judge Joseph T. Bonaventure, Marie Perri, Chuck A. Lenzie, Tony Tegano, William Raggio, Angelo A. Cassaro, Angelina Ruvo, Anthony A. Marnell II, Frank Modica, Lorraine Perri Hunt-Bono, and John Chiero. This year, we are honoring Greg Gemignani as our Augustan of the Year.
The Augustan of the year is our organization's highest honor. Mr. Gemignani’s unwavering support for our charitable activities and dedication to our Italian-American community exemplifies the core values expressed in our mission statement. It is a privilege to honor Mr. Gemignani for his dedication to our community and we hope that many of you will join us for this event.
The event features entertainment, wonderful food, and a short awards ceremony.
This year's event will be at Maggiano's Italian Restaurant at the Fashion Show Mall on Las Vegas Boulevard (across from the Wynn) from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The date of the event was moved to October 23rd avoid any scheduling issues with the Re-Discovering the Italian-American Club event being held the previous weekend.
This joyous event is open to members and non-members, and we welcome you to join us in this celebration. Tickets for the event are $65 per person. To attend please call to purchase tickets or fill out and mail in the order form in this link: Order Form.
